Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital serving Cleburne and the surrounding communities since 1978, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is open to either full-time or part-time candidates and focuses exclusively on cats and dogs. The hospital is looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality care within a well-established general practice environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities.. This includes wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and urgent care services. The role offers flexibility regarding doctor hours, with schedules open to discussion. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, providing an environment suited to a range of experience levels.
Practice Details
The hospital offers a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside urgent care services. The practice is equipped with modern technology, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic lasers, cloud-based practice management software, and more. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 7:30am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice supports a varied caseload within a collaborative clinical setting designed to help veterinarians provide high-quality patient care efficiently and effectively.
Team
The hospital currently has 2 DVMs supported by a great team of tenured, knowledgeable, and experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with strong support systems in place to help veterinarians succeed in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
