Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a well-established veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in either a full-time or part-time position. The hospital provides care for cats, dogs, and exotics and has been serving the community for over 20 years. They are trusted by their clients to provide the highest level of veterinary medicine alongside friendly and compassionate service.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care while building lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication. The practice is open to discussing schedules starting from 30 hours per week and is happy to tailor working hours to suit your preferences. This opportunity is open to veterinarians with at least one year of experience.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday mornings from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. They offer a wide range of services including wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, cold laser therapy, geriatric care, acupuncture, emergency care, exotic pet care, and diagnostics. The practice is well equipped to provide excellent treatment to patients, with digital X-ray, ultrasound, cold laser technology, an in-house laboratory, ECG, and urinalysis equipment.
Team
The team consists of two experienced DVMs and an experienced support team. You will also work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director in a collaborative practice environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
