Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a team supported by world-class medicine, technology, facilities, and a highly talented staff. This small animal practice serves dogs and cats and has been part of the community since 1998, combining a community-centered approach with extensive resources.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. A full-time schedule is available, consisting of four 10-hour shifts that include one surgery shift and three room shifts. The role may be full-time or part-time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing general practice care, including wellness and minor illness or injury treatment, spays, neuters, dentals, and small mass removals. The ideal veterinarian is passionate about pets, committed to delivering high-quality medicine, enjoys collaboration and teaching, values strong client relationships, and embraces continuous learning. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and equipped with digital and dental radiology, in-house diagnostics, an in-house laboratory, pharmacy, and office surgical suite. The environment supports hands-free radiology safety standards and includes many Fear-Free Certified team members. Services offered include digital radiology, EKG, preventive care, wellness exams and testing, flea and tick control, immunizations, microchipping, parasite control, weight management, allergy and itchy skin relief, anesthesia, dental care and dental X-rays, ear checks, euthanasia services, full diagnostics, geriatric medicine, health exams, pain management, radiology, routine surgeries, and spays and neuters.

Team
The practice has 4 DVMs and a great support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
