Our client is a full-service animal hospital that is hiring for a part-time Associate Veterinarian. The hospital sees cats, dogs, and some exotics and has been a trusted part of the community since 2006. With a strong focus on pet wellness and preventative care, the practice has built a highly respected reputation within the local community for delivering compassionate and high-quality veterinary medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities including soft-tissue, orthopedic, reconstructive, and oncologic surgical procedures alongside dentistry. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload while delivering high-quality patient care and client communication within a collaborative clinical environment. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. The successful candidate will work alongside the clinic’s full-time and well-established Medical Director, making this an excellent opportunity for a new graduate seeking incredible mentorship or an experienced veterinarian looking to build and expand their own client base while utilizing their individual clinical interests and skills.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, ultrasound, digital dental X-ray, digital X-ray, and an in-house laboratory, supporting a wide range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities. The practice also features a fully equipped sterile surgical suite alongside advanced anesthetic monitoring equipment, creating a modern and efficient clinical environment. Services offered include a full scope of general practice services, urgent care, and orthopedic procedures. In addition, the hospital also provides pet behavior counseling, supporting a comprehensive approach to patient wellness and client education.

Team
The practice is home to a team of two veterinarians supported by a skilled and compassionate support staff. The hospital maintains a minimum 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring veterinarians are well supported in delivering high-quality patient care. The collaborative culture across the hospital encourages teamwork, communication, and shared clinical excellence, creating an environment focused on providing seamless and compassionate care to both patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
