Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their companion animal practice providing care for dogs and cats. The hospital is dedicated to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for both staff and clients. This opportunity allows veterinarians to build long-term relationships with pet owners while practicing comprehensive medicine in a modern facility focused on clinical excellence.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and internal medicine. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, developing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures, and providing dental care. The role also involves educating pet owners on preventative care, maintaining detailed medical records, and collaborating closely with technicians and support staff to ensure high standards of patient care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a wide range of veterinary services supporting preventive care, general medicine, and critical case management. Services include Complete Vaccination Programs, Deworming, Comprehensive Physical Exams, Dental Care Programs, Heartworm Prevention, Flea and Tick Prevention, Microchipping, Surgery, Digital Dental Radiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Geriatric Care, Internal Medicine, Pain Management Services, and treatment for urgent and critical conditions such as fractures, poisoning, lacerations, and accident-related injuries. The hospital operates from a modern facility designed to support efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
