Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a community-focused small animal general practice dedicated to delivering thoughtful, high-quality care for dogs and cats within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is closed on weekends. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing a mix of wellness care, outpatient medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry within a general practice setting. You will work with a steady caseload of at least 9 patients per day, building strong client relationships while delivering high-quality, compassionate care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with opportunities for professional growth supported by a collaborative team and strong leadership.

This is a well-established small animal practice with over 30 years of service and a strong reputation in the community, reflected by 150+ five-star reviews. The hospital offers a range of services including wellness care, vaccinations, diagnostics and imaging, dental care, surgery, microchipping, nutrition counseling, anesthesia, pain management, urgent care, and advanced surgery. The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and dental radiology. Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team with a 2:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
