Introduction
Our client is a modern veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides primary and urgent veterinary care, with services spanning preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, oral health, dermatology, behavioural care, oncology diagnostics, and care for exotic pets. The hospital places an emphasis on high-quality medicine, clinical autonomy, professional development, and building trusted relationships with clients and their pets.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload while providing high-quality veterinary care across the hospital’s range of primary and urgent care services. Clinical services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, diagnostics, dermatology, behavioural consultations, nutritional counselling, oral health, spaying and neutering, surgery, oncology diagnostics, prescription management, microchipping, and end-of-life care. The hospital also sees urgent cases during opening hours, including wounds and lacerations, gastrointestinal concerns, eye and ear infections, urinary issues, lameness, poisoning, skin concerns, and other acute presentations. The incoming veterinarian will have clinical autonomy while working alongside experienced doctors and hospital leaders, with mentorship, unlimited continuing education, and professional development support available.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with alternating Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The modern practice provides both primary and urgent veterinary care within a warm, low-stress environment and is equipped with technology to support advanced clinical capabilities. While the practice is not an emergency hospital, the team can perform life-saving procedures for existing patients experiencing a crisis during opening hours. Services include primary and preventative care, wellness examinations, vaccinations, diagnostics, dermatology, behavioural consultations, exotic pet care, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, nutritional counselling, oral health, oncology diagnostics, surgery, spaying and neutering, prescription management, microchipping, euthanasia, and urgent care.

Team
The hospital has four DVMs and operates within a collaborative, growth-focused environment. The incoming Associate Veterinarian will work alongside experienced doctors and supportive hospital leaders, with an emphasis on collaboration, mentorship, continued clinical development, and providing exceptional care to patients and their families.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
