Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited, Fear Free Certified small animal veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its established team. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, offering a range of preventative, medical and surgical services. The practice places a strong emphasis on high-quality medicine, compassionate patient care and creating a positive, collaborative environment for both clients and staff.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care, including wellness examinations, vaccinations, dentistry, allergy management, diagnostics, surgery and emergency care. Surgical responsibilities may include routine spays and neuters, mass and tumour removals, skin growth removals, cystotomies, abdominal exploratory procedures and wound treatment and repair. The role also involves developing treatment plans, communicating with clients and supporting a Fear Free approach to patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and Fear Free Certified, reflecting its commitment to high standards of veterinary medicine and reducing patient stress. Facilities include a modern, sterile surgical suite equipped with advanced surgical tools and patient monitoring equipment. Diagnostic capabilities include radiography, ultrasound and laboratory testing, including complete blood counts, blood chemistry, urinalysis, faecal examinations, heartworm testing and tick-borne disease screening. Additional services include acupuncture, end-of-life care and emergency treatment. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Team
The hospital has two DVMs supported by a veterinary support team. The practice promotes a positive and collaborative working environment built around communication, integrity, teamwork and compassionate service. Team members are encouraged to share knowledge, support one another and provide a high standard of care while maintaining strong relationships with clients and their pets.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
