Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for companion animals. This is a full-service veterinary medical facility with two clinic locations, offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, within a collaborative and well-established environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 3–4 days per week with Saturday rotations, with consideration also given to part-time veterinarians working 2 days per week. Hospital opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a broad range of clinical services including examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and performing surgical and dental procedures. The role includes responsibilities in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, and urgent care medicine, alongside preventative care and client communication. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider team to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain strong client relationships. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited full-service practice with two locations, providing high-quality veterinary care for over 70 years. Equipment and services include advanced diagnostic imaging, dental radiology, ultrasound, and in-house diagnostic testing. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, diagnostic testing, dental care, pet surgeries, microchipping, spay and neuter procedures, dermatology and allergy care, end-of-life support, and pet prescriptions.

Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive environment with strong clinical and operational support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
