Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a full-time basis in a well-established small animal practice.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care across a broad range of services including wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and internal medicine. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgical and dental procedures, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. You will also focus on building strong client relationships, educating pet owners, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating closely with the wider team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This is a respected and well-established hospital known for delivering high-quality care, reflected in a high rating within the local community. The practice provides a full spectrum of services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, dentistry, ultrasound, and internal medicine. The facility is equipped to handle complex cases and benefits from access to internal specialist consultations through a broader network. The hospital is also a Certified Cat Friendly Practice, supporting a calm and considerate environment for feline patients. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sunday. The practice emphasizes mentorship, continuous education, and professional development within a supportive and collaborative structure.
Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
