Our client is a hospital hiring a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join a small animal practice caring for cats and dogs. Established in 2023, the hospital is built on the belief that pets deserve the careful use of medicine, high-quality nutrition, and aggressive yet gentle treatment strategies. This opportunity is ideal for veterinarians seeking a flexible part-time position while delivering exceptional patient care through both holistic and conventional veterinary medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Part-Time Associate Veterinarian will diagnose and treat patients, perform surgical and dental procedures, collaborate closely with the veterinary team, and educate clients on their pets’ health and wellbeing. The practice is open to discussing scheduling preferences to create a part-time schedule that works for both the successful candidate and the hospital. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. The supportive environment helps every team member succeed by emphasizing high-quality holistic and conventional medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The practice is both Cat Friendly and Fear Free accredited, creating a calm and supportive environment for patients. Services include comprehensive wellness care, surgery, dentistry, exotic pet medicine, and a commitment to advanced and alternative medicine. Veterinarians regularly work with specialized treatment modalities including pet acupuncture, herbal and glandular medicine, holistic nutritional therapy, homeopathy, laser therapy, chiropractic care, and massage to enhance patient mobility and comfort.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a fantastic team of support staff, creating a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care through both holistic and conventional veterinary medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
