Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited general practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. The clinic offers compassionate, high-quality care with a strong focus on wellness, preventative medicine, and client relationships.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:30am to 10:30am, and Sunday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. The role can be full-time or part-time, with a full-time schedule consisting of a 4-day workweek and rotating Saturdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality care across routine wellness, surgical, and dental cases. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, performing procedures, and building strong client relationships through clear communication and education. The role involves working collaboratively with the team to uphold high standards of care and contribute to a positive clinical environment. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This is an AAHA-accredited full-service veterinary hospital offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. Services include advanced dental care, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, preventative care, wellness programs, vaccinations, internal medicine, radiology, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, pain management, and spay and neuter procedures. The hospital is committed to promoting responsible pet ownership and preventative healthcare while providing a consistent standard of excellence. The practice emphasizes compassionate care, education, and long-standing community relationships.

Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great tenured support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
