Our client is a practice providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, with scheduling flexibility based on availability and hospital needs. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized veterinary medicine while building lasting client relationships. With a busy and varied small animal caseload, this opportunity is particularly suited to a veterinarian who enjoys surgery, dentistry, and general practice medicine within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care, including preventive medicine, diagnostic investigations, medical treatments, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, administering medications and vaccinations, and carrying out surgical and dental procedures. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, communicating treatment recommendations to clients, and providing guidance on ongoing patient care. The practice is specifically seeking an experienced veterinarian who is confident managing a varied general practice caseload, has strong surgical and dental skills, and values teamwork and client relationships.

Practice Details
The practice is a busy, growing small animal facility offering a varied caseload of medical appointments, surgical procedures, and dentistry. Clinical services include preventive healthcare, diagnostic workups, urgent care, ongoing medical management, and surgical and dental treatments. The practice benefits from the clinical and operational resources of a wider veterinary network, providing support, tools, and infrastructure while maintaining its individual practice identity. There is a strong emphasis on professional growth, clinical development, and delivering personalized veterinary care. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the practice closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
