Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a Rehabilitation Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for dogs and has a dedicated rehabilitation team and a dedicated area within the hospital designed specifically for rehabilitation services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Rehabilitation Veterinarian, you will play a key role in supporting canine patients through specialised rehabilitation programmes. Your responsibilities will include helping to speed up post-operative recovery, enhancing mobility in senior pets, supporting the athletic conditioning of sporting and working dogs, and providing relief for chronic conditions such as arthritis and neurological diseases. The hospital is open to discussing scheduling preferences with the successful candidate. This opportunity is suited to a veterinarian who holds a CCRP, CCRT, or equivalent canine rehabilitation certification.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends. They offer a specialised canine rehabilitation and therapy programme, including hydrotherapy. The practice is equipped with a Hydro Physio Underwater Treadmill, an indoor swim pool, therapeutic laser, therapeutic ultrasound, and a dedicated space for strength and balance work, therapeutic massage, and stretching.

Team
The rehabilitation team includes two rehabilitation specialists and benefits from a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, providing excellent support for delivering high-quality rehabilitation care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
