Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service general practice care with integrative medicine and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team in Uptown Charlotte. The clinic offers a combination of traditional veterinary services with integrative approaches and is expanding to include urgent care services.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with Sunday closed. Urgent care hours are available on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility, with rotating weekend and urgent care shifts required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care while managing a varied caseload and maintaining high clinical standards. Responsibilities include promoting strong client relationships, managing multiple patients effectively, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. The role includes leadership expectations within the clinic, as well as participation in urgent care services. Clinical duties span diagnostics, surgery, and integrative medicine approaches. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This is a full-service veterinary hospital offering a wide range of services including diagnostics, surgery, integrative medicine, and medical boarding. The practice provides care across numerous disciplines such as cardiology, dermatology, oncology, neurology, radiology, and nutritional counseling, alongside advanced surgical procedures including orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. The clinic is focused on delivering comprehensive care, with the addition of urgent care services and extended hours to support patient needs.

Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
