Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive small animal veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative and highly regarded practice in Charlotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a respected, community-focused hospital known for delivering high-quality medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options available, with participation in weekend coverage on Saturdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care, including diagnosing and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and building lasting client relationships. Responsibilities include performing wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care as part of a varied caseload. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with a strong emphasis on communication, collaboration, and maintaining high clinical standards.

Practice Details
This is a well-established small animal hospital offering comprehensive services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. The practice is equipped to support ultrasound, dentistry, and both routine and advanced surgical procedures. The hospital promotes a culture of continuous improvement, supported by access to internal specialty consultations and resources that enable clinicians to manage complex cases. Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
