Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides veterinary care for companion animals and focuses on delivering high-quality medicine with full medical autonomy for its veterinarians. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about providing excellent patient care while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full or part-time position. Hospital hours are Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday closed, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on an alternating schedule, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care to companion animal patients. Responsibilities include delivering primary care services such as wellness exams, diagnostics, dermatology consultations, behavioral consultations, and nutritional counseling. The role also involves performing surgical procedures including spaying and neutering, providing oral health and dental care, managing urgent care cases during open hours, and performing euthanasia when necessary. Additional duties include vaccinations, microchipping, oncology diagnostics, prescription management, travel documentation, and treatment of medical conditions including coughing, cuts and lacerations, ear infections, eye infections, growths, limping, gastrointestinal concerns, persistent scratching, poisoning, rashes, scooting, and urinary issues. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital offers comprehensive companion animal services including primary care, behavioral consultations, dermatology, diagnostics, euthanasia, kitten care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, oncology diagnostics, oral health services, prescription management, puppy care, senior pet care, spaying and neutering procedures, surgery, travel documentation, vaccinations, wellness exams, and urgent care.

The hospital has 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
