Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a general practice small animal hospital located in Charlotte, NC. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, caring for cats and dogs in a supportive, community-focused environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Wednesday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, and Thursday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. This is a full-time position, averaging 30 hours per week. There are no weekend shifts, offering excellent work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medicine including wellness and sick exams, preventive care, surgery, and diagnostics. Duties include developing treatment plans, performing spay/neuter and general surgical procedures, and educating clients on preventive health. Strong communication, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach are essential. This role is open to veterinarians with experience who are passionate about collaborative medicine.

The hospital is well equipped with modern facilities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house diagnostic testing, and surgical capabilities. Services offered include wellness and preventive care, vaccinations, surgery, diagnostics, and nail trims. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
