Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join their dedicated team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This full-service practice provides high-quality, comprehensive care to cats, dogs, exotic mammals, pocket pets, and senior pets.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position, offering a family-friendly, flexible schedule.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering a wide range of clinical services, including routine wellness exams, preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgical procedures. Care for exotic mammals and geriatric patients is also part of the caseload. This position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The hospital is a modern, full-service facility designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment. Equipment includes an in-house diagnostics laboratory, digital radiology, dental radiology, an on-site pharmacy, and a fully equipped surgical suite with surgical lasers and multi-parameter monitoring. Additional services are available through partnerships with mobile specialists offering ultrasonography and advanced surgical support. Services offered include routine exams, vaccinations, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, geriatric care, exotic mammal care, and emergency services.
Team
The hospital is staffed by a team of three DVMs supported by a highly skilled and collaborative support staff. The team culture is family-friendly, positive, and focused on delivering exceptional care while fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
