Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals, this well-established practice has been caring for pets since 1984. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative hospital with a diverse caseload and a strong focus on work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing the full scope of GP responsibilities, including preventative care, diagnostics, medicine, surgery, dentistry, and client communication. The hospital is closed on weekends, offering a great work-life balance. Experience is preferred, but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm and 3:00pm to 5:00pm. They provide a full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, offering a varied caseload across companion and exotic species. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, a state-of-the-art Idexx laboratory, Digital Radiography, a Companion therapeutic laser, Doppler ultrasound, and Ellman radio-surgical equipment. The hospital has maintained AAHA Accreditation since 1993 and also provides boarding.

Team
You will be joining a team of 4 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
