Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal patients and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This AAHA-accredited hospital has proudly served the local community since 1994 and is known for delivering high-quality medicine, compassionate care, and exceptional client service. The practice offers a collaborative and supportive environment where veterinarians can practice a broad range of medicine while working alongside an experienced team dedicated to patient care and professional growth.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include conducting wellness examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, performing surgical and dental procedures, educating clients, and collaborating closely with a skilled support team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Clinical exposure includes preventative medicine, internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, pain management, geriatric medicine, hospitalization, soft tissue surgery, routine surgical procedures, and advanced patient care. The role offers the opportunity to practice a wide range of medicine while contributing to a culture focused on teamwork, communication, and quality patient care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice committed to providing comprehensive veterinary care through preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and ongoing wellness services. Equipment includes digital radiography and electronic medical records, while additional services include cold laser therapy, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, dental care, hospitalization, acupuncture, boarding, and grooming. Preventative care services include adult and senior wellness programs, flea and tick control, parasite prevention, vaccinations, microchipping, weight management programs, wellness examinations, and new puppy and kitten care. Additional services include allergy treatment, health certificates, health examinations, pain management, internal medicine, general surgery, routine surgical procedures, and spay and neuter surgeries. The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
