Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital providing companion animal care and is hiring a Part-time Associate Veterinarian. The hospital treats canine, feline, and pocket pet cases.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 6:30pm, Fridays from 7:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. The position is part-time, scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week though exact scheduling is flexible and open to discussion. No after-hours or overnight requirements are required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian role involves providing primary care for companion animals across inpatient, outpatient, dental, and surgical visits. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, routine and general surgery, anesthesia, pain management, internal medicine, orthopedic care, and client communication. The role is open to veterinarians who are committed to practicing high standards of medicine and ethical care.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped and AAHA accredited, with certification as a Feline Friendly hospital. Equipment and capabilities include digital radiology, ultrasound, orthopedic surgery, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, anesthesia, and full diagnostic services. Services offered span preventive care, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, dental care, routine and general surgery, spay and neuter procedures, internal medicine, pain management, euthanasia services, nutritional and behavioral counseling, and advanced care. The practice supports inpatient, outpatient, and surgical caseloads.

Team
The team consists of three DVMs supported by credentialed technicians, assistants, and client service representatives. The environment emphasizes collaboration, teaching, and teamwork.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
