This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Lead Veterinarian to take a key clinical leadership role within a veterinarian-led hospital delivering primary and urgent care in Chandler, Arizona. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 8am to 6pm, with Sunday hours from 8am to 6pm on an alternating basis. The rota is designed to be flexible and sustainable, allowing the Lead Veterinarian to balance leadership responsibilities with clinical work while maintaining continuity of care across both primary and urgent care services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Lead Veterinarian, you will act as the clinical standard bearer for the hospital, guiding medical quality and supporting the development of the veterinary team. You will remain actively involved in clinical work, managing a mix of primary and urgent care cases, while providing mentorship, clinical guidance, and support to associate veterinarians. The role includes influencing protocols, fostering a collaborative team culture, and building strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent clinical standards.

Practice Details
The hospital provides primary and urgent care services for dogs and cats, operating within a modern clinical environment designed to support efficient workflows and high-quality medicine. Clinical standards are veterinarian-crafted, prioritising professional judgement and patient outcomes over volume-driven care. The practice model is built to empower clinical leaders and support long-term career progression.

Team
You will lead a developing clinical team currently consisting of two veterinarians, with the opportunity to mentor colleagues and help shape the future growth of the hospital. The culture is collaborative, feedback-driven, and supportive, giving the Lead Veterinarian meaningful influence over both team development and clinical direction.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
