Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive small animal veterinary care, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is an opportunity to work in a compassionate, community-focused environment delivering personalized medical, surgical, and dental care.
Working Hours / Rota
This role offers full-time or part-time flexibility with a schedule designed to respect your time. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays, with no on-call or late-night expectations.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to small animals. Daily responsibilities include conducting wellness exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, and developing tailored treatment plans. The role also emphasizes strong client communication, educating pet owners on care options and preventative strategies, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will collaborate closely with a well-supported team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This hospital is part of a network of veterinary practices focused on delivering transparent, personalized care within a supportive and collaborative culture. Facilities include open treatment areas and visible surgical suites, with access to advanced diagnostic tools such as radiology, ultrasound, and imaging technologies. Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and well-supported working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
