Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides comprehensive care for dogs, cats, reptiles, and pocket pets, with a strong focus on client-centered and preventative medicine in a collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with Sunday closed. This is a part-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality veterinary care focused on preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and dental services. The role involves collaborating with leadership to support the clinic’s vision, maintaining clinic equipment, ensuring compliance with veterinary standards, supporting community engagement, and building strong client relationships through clear communication and education.

Practice Details
The hospital provides comprehensive, lifelong care with a focus on thorough examinations, advanced diagnostics, and surgical services. Services include wellness and preventative care, dental care, ultrasound, stem cell procedures, spay and neuter, surgery, physical examinations, blood and fecal testing, vaccinations, sick care, and specialized surgical procedures for reptiles and small mammals. The clinic emphasizes a low-stress environment and a client-centered approach, delivering tailored treatment plans and offering case-dependent urgent care.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
