Job Description

Introduction
Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a well established animal hospital in Centennial, Colorado within the greater Denver metro area. The practice provides care for a diverse caseload including birds, exotic species and small animals and has built a strong reputation within the local community and surrounding states.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. The practice is closed on Sundays. Doctor schedules have not been specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including avian, exotic and small animal patients. Responsibilities include wellness and sick exams, diagnostics, surgery and dentistry with thirty minute consultations scheduled as standard. The role suits veterinarians with experience or strong interest in exotic and pocket pet medicine, with avian medicine considered a plus.

Practice Details
This full service hospital provides medical, surgical and dental care for small animals and exotic pets with a strong focus on wellness care, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. The practice also collaborates with local rescues and nearby colleges, supporting externship and teaching opportunities for veterinarians and technicians.

Team
The practice is supported by a team of five and a half DVMs alongside experienced technicians and dedicated support staff who work collaboratively to provide high quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
