Introduction
Our client is a practice providing mixed animal veterinary care for dogs, cats, equine, and large animal patients and is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join the team on a full-time basis. The practice is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine while strengthening the human-animal bond through client education, preventive care, and comprehensive medical services. With a diverse caseload covering companion animals, equine, and large animal medicine, the practice offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of veterinary care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care across small and large animal medicine, with responsibilities including routine examinations, preventive healthcare, surgical procedures, diagnostic assessments, and holistic care. The role involves educating clients on animal health, developing appropriate treatment plans, and providing consultation services for large animal owners. Responsibilities also include supporting herd health management, following up-to-date herd health protocols, and working closely with clients to promote animal welfare and preventive medicine. Full-time opportunities are available across three or four days per week. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The practice operates a mixed animal caseload consisting of approximately 50% small animal, 30% equine, 10% porcine, and 10% cattle. Services include routine and preventive healthcare, surgery, holistic care, diagnostic services, equine medicine, and veterinary services for cattle, small ruminants, and pigs. The practice places a strong emphasis on client education, herd health consultation, and maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine. Opening hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Team
The practice has four DVMs and a great tenured support team. The team works together to provide high-quality veterinary care across its mixed animal caseload, with a shared commitment to preventive medicine, client education, and strengthening relationships with animal owners.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
