Introduction
Our client is a well-established animal hospital in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, now under new leadership and seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. This unique practice provides a full complement of theriogenology services to the region while offering comprehensive general medicine and surgery to local companion animals. The hospital supports DVMs with a wide variety of interests, and its collaborative culture and long-standing clientele allow clinicians to practice high-quality, relationship-focused medicine. This role would be focused on providing general practice services.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open on Monday and Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This role can be structured as a full-time position within these hours and includes no after-hours or weekend requirements, supporting an excellent work-life balance. The schedule is consistent and supported by a friendly and considerate leadership team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will examine and treat companion animals, perform diagnostic evaluations, interpret diagnostic results, advise clients on preventive care, perform surgery, prescribe medications, provide end-of-life counselling, maintain accurate medical records, and uphold the ethical and regulatory standards of veterinary medicine. The role is open to experienced veterinarians and to those early in their careers, including alternate track candidates. With services spanning preventative care, wellness, dentistry, general surgery, and reproductive medicine, the position offers the opportunity to build a caseload aligned with individual interests while practicing alongside two boarded theriogenologists.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a breadth of general practice services, including examinations, surgery, dentistry, in-house laboratory diagnostics, radiology, and laser therapy. The team provides comprehensive general pet care, including regular wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, diagnostic testing, and treatment for both routine and more complex conditions. The practice is known for its compassionate, client-centred approach, treating every patient with the same care and dedication they would give their own pets. Team
The hospital is home to three veterinarians, including two boarded theriogenologists and a part-time general practitioner, supported by a brilliant and dedicated team of support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
