Introduction
A growing, two-doctor veterinary hospital in Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its team. This practice combines general practice with urgent care, offering a varied and engaging caseload within a model that prioritises clinical autonomy, mentorship, and long-term career growth. The culture is built around empowering veterinarians to practice medicine their way, within a collaborative and feedback-driven environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates seven days a week from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with scheduling designed to provide flexibility and support a balanced workload across the team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves delivering a blend of general practice and urgent care medicine, managing a wide range of cases from routine wellness and preventative care through to more acute presentations such as lacerations, GI issues, dermatological conditions, and urgent medical concerns, with the opportunity to perform surgery and dentistry while building strong client relationships and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.

Practice Details
The practice provides comprehensive primary care alongside urgent care services during opening hours, allowing for a dynamic caseload that includes diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and same-day medical cases, supported by modern equipment and a structure that enables veterinarians to work cases up thoroughly while maintaining efficiency.

Team
You will be joining a small but growing team of veterinarians supported by trained support staff, within a model that emphasises mentorship, open feedback, and professional development, while also offering a clear pathway for those interested in future leadership or ownership opportunities.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
