If you’re looking to join a small animal practice with a long-standing reputation in the community, this could be just the opportunity. The team is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join them on either a full-time or part-time basis, caring for cats and dogs within a friendly, well-established practice that values high-quality medicine and great client relationships.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll take on the full scope of GP responsibilities, seeing a varied companion animal caseload that includes consultations, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and preventative care. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to provide excellent patient care while building trusted relationships with clients. Working hours are flexible and can be discussed further. This opportunity is best suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys practising high-quality medicine in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Practice Details
The practice is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm and is closed on weekends, helping to support a healthy work-life balance. The hospital provides the full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, giving you the opportunity to work with a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll have access to digital and dental radiology, ultrasound, orthopedic equipment, an in-house laboratory, and a Tonopen, providing the tools needed to confidently diagnose and manage a wide range of medical and surgical cases. The practice also features separate surgical and dental suites, allowing procedures to be carried out efficiently within a well-equipped clinical environment.
Team
You’ll be joining a team of 3 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who genuinely care about delivering exceptional patient care. The leadership team is invested in helping its veterinarians succeed, creating a collaborative environment where communication, teamwork, and professional growth are part of everyday practice. It’s a supportive team that works together to provide outstanding care while maintaining a positive and enjoyable workplace.
