Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides general practice and same-day urgent care services, with a caseload encompassing small animals and exotics. The hospital offers a diverse caseload ranging from routine wellness and preventative medicine through to more complex medical and surgical cases.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care across wellness and preventative medicine, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and same-day urgent care. The role offers opportunities to explore different clinical interests within a varied caseload, with access to advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities. Veterinarians have clinical autonomy over their cases while working collaboratively with the wider team. The position has no weekend, after-hours emergency, or on-call responsibilities. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are considered, with mentorship and professional development available.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The practice is equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, laser therapy, laboratory capabilities, and fully equipped dental and surgical suites. Services include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, surgery, laser surgery, diagnostics and imaging, urgent care, end-of-life care, laboratory services, microchipping, nutritional guidance, and pharmacy services. The hospital has an established client base and provides access to additional clinical resources while allowing its veterinarians to maintain medical autonomy.

Team
The hospital has two DVMs supported by an experienced and dedicated support team. The working environment is collaborative and laid-back, with strong technician support to help doctors work efficiently. The practice emphasizes clinical autonomy, teamwork, mentorship, and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
