Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a companion animal hospital and is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The practice delivers comprehensive primary and advanced veterinary care for canine and feline patients within a collaborative, high-standard clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the hospital closed on Sunday. The position is full-time, with flexible scheduling options designed to promote work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality, comprehensive veterinary care while building trusted relationships with clients and patients. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, internal medicine, anesthesia, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and advanced medical case management. The role offers autonomy in developing treatment plans while being supported by a strong clinical team. Structured mentorship opportunities are available to support professional growth at all experience levels.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including laser surgery, cold laser therapy, digital radiology, ultrasound, EKG, in-house laboratory diagnostics, endoscopy, and a fully equipped surgical suite. Services offered include advanced care, internal medicine, dermatology, pain management, dentistry with dental radiographs, general and soft tissue surgery, preventive medicine, geriatrics, urology, intensive care, oxygen and transfusion therapy, and wellness programs. The caseload is diverse and supported by modern facilities, progressive medicine, and a loyal client base that values high-quality care.

Team
The veterinary team consists of five DVMs supported by a strong and collaborative support staff. The environment emphasizes teamwork, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and ongoing professional development, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient care and client relationships.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
