Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Cape Coral, Florida hiring a part-time Associate Veterinarian. The hospital provides high-quality small animal medicine and surgery, supported by world-class technology, modern facilities, and a collaborative, close-knit team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule and no after-hours or on-call duties.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering high-quality small animal medicine and surgery while collaborating with a network of specialists and accessing 24-hour support consultations. Clinical responsibilities span general practice, diagnostics, preventative care, and surgical procedures. The position is suited to experienced veterinarians who are dedicated to providing world-class medicine, enjoy teamwork, and value building strong client relationships.
Practice Details
The hospital features a state-of-the-art facility with a dental suite, digital radiology, EMR, and an onsite pet resort. Equipment and services include advanced care offerings such as cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, endoscopy, and full in-house diagnostics. Additional services include preventative care, adult and senior wellness, immunizations, microchipping, parasite control, weight management, dental care including dental X-rays, routine surgeries, anesthesia, radiology, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, and support services such as euthanasia and pet loss support. The hospital culture is fun, collaborative, and supportive, with a strong commitment to pet wellbeing through medical care, nutrition, and cruelty prevention programs.
Team
The team currently includes 1 DVM supported by additional staff in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
