Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital that has been serving the community since 1973 and is hiring for a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This practice provides care for cats, dogs, and pocket pets, offering an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian seeking a flexible, part-time position within a well-supported clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine wellness care, diagnostics, and treatment across a varied caseload. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements, and doctor hours will be discussed to suit availability. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, making it a great opportunity for those seeking either a supportive start or a flexible continuation of their career.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. It is well-equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools including an endoscope, ultrasound, digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, and dental X-ray, though the equipment is not limited to these. Facilities include an in-office surgical suite, in-house pharmacy, and in-house endoscopy capabilities. Services offered include cardiology, cold laser therapy, and endoscopy, and the practice also provides climate-controlled pet boarding.

Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great team of support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
