Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned practice that has been advocating for pets since 1985. The practice provides care for cats and dogs and is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join the team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide the full scope of general practice responsibilities. The schedule is flexible and open to discussion, with a preference for three days per week plus every other Saturday. Candidates should have at least two years of veterinary experience.

Practice Details
The practice is open Monday through Friday from 9am–5pm and Saturday from 9am–1pm. It is AAHA accredited and recognized as a Gold Level Cat Friendly Practice. The hospital provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. The practice also takes referrals for acupuncture and pain management and offers laser therapy and rehabilitation. Equipment includes X-ray, a Companion Laser, PRP, Stance Mat, in-house chemistry, urinalysis and hematology, HT Vista for the diagnosis of skin tumors, and standard patient monitoring equipment. The practice uses AviMark veterinary software and operates paperlessly.

Team
The practice has two DVMs and a well-supported team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
