Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established, community-focused small animal practice in Canton, Ohio.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This position offers flexible scheduling with no on-call requirements and opportunities for leadership.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide wellness exams, vaccinations, spay and neuter procedures, microchipping, laser therapy, dental care, radiology, surgery including soft tissue and orthopedics, and parasite prevention within a modern, efficient environment. The role is open to experienced veterinarians with at least two years of clinical experience, and an interest in urgent care is a plus.

Practice Details
The hospital is recently renovated, featuring a new lobby, exam rooms, surgery suite, and treatment areas, and is well-equipped with laser surgery, therapeutic laser, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, in-house laboratory, and radiology. The practice focuses on preventative care, surgical procedures, and high-quality medicine while maintaining an efficient workflow and excellent client communication.

The hospital has three DVMs supported by a skilled, collaborative team with an excellent technician-to-DVM ratio, fostering a supportive, team-first environment with strong mentorship and a commitment to delivering gold-standard care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
