Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a full-service general practice focused primarily on small animal medicine, with limited equine and bovine care, and is expanding its team with the addition of a third DVM. The clinic supports veterinarians who value medical autonomy and collaborative, relationship-driven care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Doctors hours are flexible and open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive veterinary care across wellness and preventative medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, and surgery. Clinical responsibilities include routine and advanced surgical procedures, anesthesia management, diagnostic interpretation, and client education, as well as limited equine and bovine services. The position is open to veterinarians committed to high-quality medicine and long-term client relationships.

Practice Details
The practice operates as a general practice with an average daily patient volume of 15–20 cases and a case mix that includes wellness and preventative care, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, surgery, and limited equine and bovine services. The clinic is equipped with an IDEXX in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, and in-house canine reproduction tools. The culture is collaborative, low-drama, and high-trust, with strong support for medical autonomy and quality medicine.

Team
The team currently consists of 2 DVMs, with a 2:1 support staff ratio, working within a collaborative and supportive environment that emphasizes trust, teamwork, and respect.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
