Job Description
This hospital is a family-owned and operated veterinary practice located in Canon City. They have been serving Fremont County and the surrounding areas since 1951. At this busy, three doctor practice, they treat small animals and offer the latest in hospital design and technology to serve much of Southern Colorado including Canon City, Penrose, Florence, Westcliffe, and Pueblo communities. They are proud to offer a 5600 square foot facility with digital radiography (dental and general), Idexx for in house labs (including urinalysis machine), ultrasound, and laser therapy (both therapeutic and surgical). They are looking to add a Full-Time or Part-Time Veterinarian to meet their client’s and patient’s needs. Their well-established practice holds longstanding veterinarians, technicians and assistants, so they are always able to provide the community with a familiar face during their pet’s care. Currently, they offer high quality dentistry/oral surgery, ultrasonography, and some orthopedic surgeries. They welcome any additional specialty that a new staff member would provide and encourage diversity of skill sets. Their doctors take pride in the quality of medicine that they provide to their patients and collaborate as a team to discuss patient care for the best outcome for their clients. Mentorship is available as needed/desired.
