Our client is a hospital providing care for cats, dogs, and pocket pets/small mammals and is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Cameron, North Carolina. The practice prides itself on a collaborative culture that integrates a variety of medical and surgical cases while supporting veterinarians in their professional aspirations. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will serve patients and clients using a relationship-based approach while collaborating closely with the clinical team and leadership. Responsibilities include managing a varied caseload of appointments and surgeries during hospital operating hours, developing relationships within the practice and the Cameron community, and encouraging the growth of support staff through the internal LevelUp training program. Clinical services provided by the hospital include dentistry, end-of-life care, laboratory and diagnostic services, microchipping, pain management, parasite prevention, and surgery. This position is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
Serving Cameron and the surrounding communities since 2013, the hospital is dedicated to helping pets live happier, healthier lives through exceptional medical and surgical care delivered in a compassionate environment. The practice has grown into a full-service veterinary hospital and doggie day camp, providing comprehensive care for its patients. The facility is equipped with digital full-body radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound, a dedicated surgical suite, and Cornerstone practice management software. Services offered include dentistry, end-of-life care, labs and diagnostics, microchipping, pain management, parasite prevention, and surgery. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
The hospital is staffed by 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The culture is collaborative and supportive, with team members working together across a variety of medical and surgical cases while encouraging professional development and providing compassionate care to patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
