Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Cambridge, Wisconsin. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care and is known for delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine in a welcoming and professional environment. The role focuses on caring for companion animals as well as avian and exotic species, offering variety for veterinarians who enjoy a diverse caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The position is part-time, with flexible scheduling and no weekend coverage required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing high-quality veterinary care through comprehensive patient examinations, diagnostic work-ups, and medical and surgical treatment. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures and surgery, maintaining accurate medical records, prescribing medications, and communicating clearly and compassionately with clients. The Associate Veterinarian will collaborate closely with fellow veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, contribute to efficient hospital workflows, and support daily case management from intake to discharge.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a wide range of veterinary services including wellness exams and vaccinations, internal medicine, dental care, surgery, senior care, puppy and kitten care, emergency care, and avian and exotic pet services. Exotic care includes birds, exotic mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. Team
The Associate Veterinarian will work alongside a team of experienced technicians, and support staff in a collaborative and inclusive environment that values teamwork, efficiency, and compassionate patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
