Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This practice delivers a broad range of medical services to dogs, cats, exotics, and farm animals (excluding cows and horses), offering a varied and engaging caseload within a supportive clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Thursday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with weekends closed. The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility with flexible scheduling available. Additional after-hours requirements are not specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will work across a mixed caseload consisting of approximately 50% wellness and sick cases, 30% urgent/walk-ins, and 20% emergencies. Clinical responsibilities include performing a variety of medical and surgical procedures such as soft tissue surgery, reproductive procedures, splenectomies/GDVs, c-sections, advanced dentistry, and orthopedic procedures. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, managing cases effectively, and collaborating closely with the team. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available.

Practice Details
This is a Fear-Free practice equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology including ultrasound, hot cutting laser, cold laser, digital radiography (including dental), anesthesia monitoring devices, fluid pumps and warmers, pulse oximetry, and additional patient support equipment. The hospital offers a wide range of services including advanced care, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, reproductive services, dental care, emergency care, diagnostics, preventive medicine, and wellness programs. The practice supports a diverse caseload across multiple species and provides a well-equipped environment for delivering high-quality veterinary medicine.

Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
