Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for a wide range of species including small animals, equine, large animals, exotics, birds, reptiles, pocket pets, and primates. This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis within a diverse and comprehensive practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality care across a varied caseload, including general medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Daily responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing surgical and dental procedures. The role also involves preventative care, client communication, and maintaining accurate medical records. Veterinarians will work closely with a skilled team in a collaborative environment, supporting a high standard of patient care across multiple species. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on weekends. It is a 10,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility offering a wide range of services including wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, microchipping, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, grooming, urgent care, boarding, and specialized exotic animal services. The practice provides comprehensive care for both companion animals and large animals, including equine and farm animals, supporting a diverse and engaging caseload.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
