Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats within a modern, purpose-built facility. The hospital focuses on high-quality medicine, compassionate patient care, and providing doctors with strong clinical support.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide preventative and wellness care, sick visits, diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgical care. Surgical services include spays and neuters, soft tissue surgery, mass removal, surgical oncology, gastrointestinal procedures, splenectomy, and foreign body removal, while dental responsibilities include examinations, cleaning, and dental radiography. The caseload also includes urgent and emergency presentations during business hours, dermatology and allergy cases, pain management, senior care, and behavioral and nutritional counseling. Full-time doctors typically work four 10-hour shifts per week, including two to three weekdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and a minimum of every other Friday or Saturday, with one three-day weekend each month.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The modern facility was purpose-built less than five years ago with veterinary workflow, efficiency, and patient care in mind. Diagnostic capabilities include digital radiography, ultrasound, echocardiography, in-house laboratory testing, blood chemistry, urinalysis, and dental radiography. Services include preventative and wellness care, vaccinations, microchipping, parasite prevention, nutrition and weight management, puppy and kitten care, senior care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, pain management, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, behavioral counseling, urgent and emergency care during business hours, and end-of-life care.

Team
The hospital has three DVMs and operates with a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio. Experienced technicians manage responsibilities beyond doctor-specific duties, allowing veterinarians to focus on clinical decision-making and patient care. The practice emphasizes respectful teamwork and providing doctors with the support needed to deliver high-quality medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
