Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal hospital that has proudly served the community since 1998. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The practice provides high-quality care to cats and dogs, offering a diverse caseload within a supportive and progressive clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, and from 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays. The team is open to discussing both full-time and part-time scheduling options, offering flexibility to suit individual preferences. Weekend requirements are limited to the Saturday morning rota, with no additional after-hours commitments.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for client education, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgery and dentistry, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. This is a true general practice role, offering exposure to a broad range of medical and surgical cases. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, providing excellent mentorship and continuing education opportunities to help you develop and advance in your career.

Practice Details
The facility is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technology, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, in-house laboratory equipment, and laser therapy. The hospital is designed to support complex diagnostics and advanced patient care, allowing veterinarians to continually refine their skills and confidently expand the scope of medicine they practice. Services offered include wellness care, diagnostics, internal medicine, pain management, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, laser therapy, and a range of surgical procedures including orthopaedic, dental, and soft tissue surgeries. The practice fosters a progressive and clinically supportive environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Team
The hospital is home to a team of three DVMs supported by a fantastic and dedicated group of technicians and support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
