Introduction
A brand-new small animal hospital opening later in 2026 in Buckeye, Arizona is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its founding team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new clinic from the ground up, combining high-quality medicine with a warm, client-focused environment, while benefiting from strong operational support and clinical autonomy.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule designed to support a healthy work-life balance, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts aligned with general practice and urgent care demand as the clinic establishes itself.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, treatment planning, and surgery where desired. As part of a new hospital launch, the role also offers the opportunity to help shape clinical workflows, influence the culture of the team, and build lasting client relationships from day one. There is flexibility to focus on general practice, urgent care, or a combination of both depending on individual interests.

Practice Details
This is a purpose-built, modern veterinary hospital designed to deliver high-quality small animal care. Services will include wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery, with a strong emphasis on personalised care and client communication. The practice offers the balance of clinical freedom with the backing of an established support structure, allowing veterinarians to focus on delivering excellent medicine while contributing to the growth of a new hospital.

Team
You will be joining a team consisting of the founding veterinarian and support staff, with the opportunity to help shape a collaborative, supportive culture from the outset. The environment is designed to encourage mentorship, shared learning, and long-term career development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
