Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs. They are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed daily between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the hospital are open to full and part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The caseload includes wellness and preventive care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and internal medicine. In addition to providing high-quality medical care, the Associate Veterinarian will collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to a positive and efficient clinical workflow. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital sees a busy, well-paced general practice caseload and offers a full scope of GP services alongside urgent care, walk-in ER services, and advanced surgery. The practice is well equipped, featuring digital x-ray, in-house laboratory diagnostics, ultrasound, and modern surgical and monitoring equipment.

Team
The team currently consists of two DVMs supported by a strong technician and CSR team, ensuring doctors are never working alone. The culture is collaborative, mentorship-driven, and client-focused, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and mutual respect.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
