Introduction
Our client is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for small animals and select exotic species, offering a modern, collaborative, and supportive environment for both staff and clients. This is an excellent opportunity for veterinarians who want to deliver high-quality, Fear-Free certified care in a well-equipped facility.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a weekly schedule of 30–34 hours to encourage a balanced work/life routine. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Specific hours are flexible within this framework, and the schedule is designed to support both professional and personal well-being.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive general practice care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, and a wide variety of surgical services. The role may also include the opportunity to work with exotic species for veterinarians with interest and experience. This position is suited to both experienced veterinarians and those seeking mentorship. The Medical Director provides guidance and support, ensuring opportunities for skill development, collaboration, and professional growth.

Practice Details
Our client’s hospital is a full-service veterinary facility equipped with a dedicated dental suite, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, and small exotics equipment. The practice maintains a high standard of medicine, offering routine small-animal care as well as advanced services, all delivered in a Fear-Free certified environment that minimizes fear, anxiety, and stress for patients. The hospital fosters a collaborative culture with a 3:1 support staff/technician to DVM ratio and routine clinic meetings to encourage teamwork, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

Team
The hospital currently has three DVMs supported by a strong and experienced support staff. The team is cohesive, experienced, and committed to collaboration, mentorship, and excellence in patient care, providing a professional environment where veterinarians can grow while delivering exceptional care to their patients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
