Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing veterinary care for dogs and cats in Bristol, Tennessee, and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their close-knit team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and has served the local community for over 25 years, providing comprehensive small animal care within a friendly and supportive environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, preventive, and dental care to small animal patients, including wellness care and a full scope of general practice services. Responsibilities include developing strong client relationships through clear communication, collaborating with the wider clinical team, participating in medical case discussions and continuing education, and maintaining thorough and accurate patient records. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered, with mentorship available for newer graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital provides comprehensive small animal medicine supported by up-to-date veterinary technology, with services including wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. The clinical approach emphasizes compassionate, low-stress, patient-centered care, while additional infrastructure provides access to professional development, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
The hospital has four DVMs and a great tenured support team, including experienced veterinarians and skilled technicians. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on teamwork, mentorship, medical case discussions, professional development, and maintaining a warm, close-knit culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
