Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice providing veterinary care for dogs, cats, and rabbits. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and provides a broad range of preventive, primary, diagnostic, surgical, and advanced veterinary services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide care across preventive medicine, wellness, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, dermatology, pain management, hospitalization, and surgery. Clinical responsibilities can include wellness examinations, vaccinations, geriatric medicine, allergy and skin care, dental procedures, soft tissue and routine surgeries, spays and neuters, diagnostic imaging, and management of canine and feline diabetes. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered.

Practice Details
The practice offers advanced and primary care with capabilities including digital radiology, ultrasound, EKG, OFA X-rays, Tonopen, dental X-rays, an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, surgical suite, hospitalization, and an isolation ward. Services include advanced dental care, periodontics, root canals, dermatology, internal medicine, general and soft tissue surgery, anesthesia, full diagnostics, preventive care, adult and senior wellness, parasite control, microchipping, weight management, health certificates, pain management, and new puppy and kitten packages. The practice is an Animal Quarantine Approved Hospital and is affiliated with the Feline Veterinary Medical Association. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the practice closed on Sundays.

Team
The practice has two DVMs and a great tenured support team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
