Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position. The practice delivers comprehensive veterinary care and is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about clinical excellence, community connection, and contributing to the continued growth and development of the hospital.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis. Weekend, after-hours, or emergency coverage requirements are to be discussed with the practice.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Clinical responsibilities include delivering high-quality preventive and medical care, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. The Associate Veterinarian will build strong relationships with clients and patients, contribute to clinical decision-making, and support the delivery of compassionate, comprehensive care. The role also offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues, contribute positively to hospital culture, and support the ongoing development of medical standards and patient care practices.
Practice Details
The hospital has been serving its community for over 35 years, providing compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care since 1987. The practice offers a wide range of services designed to support pets throughout all life stages, including wellness exams, diagnostics, advanced treatment options, veterinary surgery, and veterinary dentistry. Facilities and equipment support modern medical care and include laser surgery, cold laser therapy, video otoscopy, point-of-care ultrasound, radiology, cryotherapy, genetic testing, in-house diagnostics, and an on-site pharmacy. The culture is centered on respect, informed client communication, collaboration, and a long-standing commitment to improving the lives of pets and their families.

The hospital is supported by 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a close-knit, collaborative, and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
